Promos: Concrete Actions for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women

On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, Promos has chosen to be actively present with concrete initiatives, aimed at raising public awareness and supporting those who are victims of violence and stalking.

The Exhibition “How Were You Dressed?”: A Journey through Stereotypes

From November 23th to December 1st, in the Outlets of Barberino and Valmontone, it is possible to visit the exhibition “How Were You Dressed?”, a touching experience that dismantles one of the most deep-rooted prejudices: the one that associates the victim’s clothing with responsibility for the violence suffered.

Through clothes and real stories, the journey invites us to reflect on how unjust and harmful these stereotypes are, helping to spread greater collective awareness.

The Number 1522: Always Accessible Help

At the same time, in all our assets, we have placed stickers with the number 1522, the public and free service active 24/7 to receive requests for help and support from victims of violence and stalking.

This initiative aims to:

  • Inform women of the existence of a safe and reliable channel.
  • Offer immediate support, right in everyday places.
  • Raise public awareness on an issue that concerns the entire society.

A Commitment to Social Responsibility

We believe that change comes through concrete actions and an assumption of collective responsibility. With these initiatives, we want to help make women feel less alone, promoting a culture based on respect and solidarity.

A special thanks goes to Libere Sinergie, for having made this collaboration possible and for the constant commitment in the fight against gender violence.

For Promos, the well-being of people and the construction of inclusive communities represent fundamental values, which translate into real actions for the benefit of all.
